history disputed[edit]

There is a problem in the history and sightings section. It begins with mentioning tales from the Tlingit, who live in Southeast Alaska and the Aleut, who live in the Aleutian Islands. The area around Iliamna is inhabited by Athabascans, a seperate and distinct people from either of those. So, maybe they have their own stories of giant fish but they aren’t stories about this giant fish. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:18, 16 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There’s soooo many issues with this that I have elected to redirect it. We probably shouldn’t have an article not his subject at all if it has to resort to this sort of puffery and dependence on extremely questionable sources to look like something. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:26, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
