Invictus' Most Successful Recording (s)?[edit]

The most successful Invictus recording was "Band Of Gold" which went to #1 in England and stayed #1 for 6 weeks. The biggest act for Invictus was not "The Chairmen Of The Board," it was "The Honey cone". "The Flaming Embers" had Westbound #9 and Payne had "Bring The Boys Back Home"; thus, Payne probably sold the most as a soloist and Honey Cone sold the most as a group? Interesting to note: H-D-H first approached Diana Ross to sing "Band Of Gold" but she refused as it was obviously a Supremes' sounding song.
