Vosper MTBs[edit]

Some Asso 750s were acquired by the Royal Navy (RN) to power their  Vosper torpedo boats, but the start of the war prevented the contract from 
being completed. Later British torpedo boats, powered by British or American engines had more power, but with higher fuel consumption.

This torpedo boat MTB 102, built as the Vosper Private Venture Boat was powered by 3x 57 L (3,500 cu in) Isotta Fraschini IF 183 engines (maritime Asso 1000s), not 47.6 L (2,900 cu in) marine Asso 750s.--Petebutt (talk) 03:00, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
