Rename?[edit]
It would probably be better to rename this article as PSR J0740+6620. Adding the prefix PSR removes ambiguity and makes clear that this object is a pulsar, and also can be directly looked up by this name in the SIMBAD database. Without the PSR prefix, searching on the name J0740+6620 returns an error in SIMBAD. Aldebarium (talk) 21:35, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. At the moment I've set up PSR J0740+6620 to redirect to here, but if nobody has an objection then I'll move the article from this page to PSR J0740+6620 and have J0740+6620 redirect to there. Sonicology (talk) 19:23, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
