Removing questionable details with questionable sources[edit]

I changed the first sentence from

Jacob van Loo (1614 – 26 November 1670) was a Flemish [1] painter who is considered one of the Dutch Masters of the 17th Century.[2]

to

Jacob van Loo (1614 – 26 November 1670) was a painter of the Dutch Golden Age.

According to the article he was born in Sluis in Zeeland, which was at the time of his birth part of the Dutch Republic, and he was active mainly in Amsterdam. Calling him "Flemish" should require more sources than the fact that it is written on some website.

The second link is a review of an exhibition called "Dutch Masters from the Rijksmuseum", which includes some paintings of Jacob van Loo. Since pretty much any painter of the age whose pictures are in a museum would be called a "master", there is no real point here and this review is hardly a relevant source.—Austriacus (talk) 22:32, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
