Notabiity

He became a successful farmer and by 1850 owned... twenty-four slaves.

What is the notability of this? Is 24 rated as successful? Or is it being quoted as some kind of guilt-rating? I feel that the 'American slave owner' category should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history is notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 03:45, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
