A query

You link "U.S. Medal of Honor"; should the "U.S." be there. A genuine question; I wouldn't know what formulations are usual, but cannot remember seeing that usage. Gog the Mild (talk) 13:23, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your query. I've seen it used a variety of ways, including as "Congressional Medal of Honor". Since we're an international resource, and since I've come across award winners in various wars who were natives of one country - but medal winners in another - I try to include wording which makes clear what the country of origin is for the medal being awarded (just to avoid confusion). 47thPennVols (talk) 16:44, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
