Made for TV film?[edit]

I have no idea if there was a 1989 made for TV film starring Peter Fonda, but it wasn't this one. Please, start another article. This article deals with the sequel to Alien from L.A. Is the release year actually 1988?[edit]

Most of the information I can find about this film states that it was first released in Japan on July 30, 1988, followed by a home video release in the U.S. in 1989. Unfortunately Wikipedia will not accept the sources I have found. Can anyone get a definitive answer on whether or not this film was actually released in 1988?
