Bibliography

[edit]

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue. Edna St. Vincent Millay Needs Judith Thurman

[edit]

The article strangely fails to deal, at all, with what Thurman is working on now. Twice she's taken on mighty, eight-year projects involving vast research and countless revisions. Thurman might find it exhausting, but satisfying, to rescue Edna St. Vincent Millay from feeble biographers of the past. Daniel Epstein was embarrassingly in love with his subject in WHOSE LIPS MY LIPS HAVE KISSED. It made him, well, sloppy. Nancy Milford was not equal to her subject matter in SAVAGE BEAUTY. One of our best American poets, and one with the richest life events, has never had a biographer with the ability and persistence to do her justice. Judith Thurman would be that person. 23.121.115.9 (talk) 13:10, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
