Who wrote this, other than a middle school child, and where is the substance/citation?
[edit]Get rid of "Perhaps what Bigelow is most well known for is her use of extensive violence in her films. Most of her films include violent sequences and many of them revolve around the theme of violence. Violence has been a staple in her films from the beginning of her career." If you have no supportive citation. This is just babbling. 108.49.215.204 (talk) 02:12, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, almost all of the Film Style section is like this. It is mostly WP:OR opinions, some of it reasonable, but most of it banal. The section has a good number of citations, but almost none of them support the assertions about her style. Most of the sources just support minor points. Ashmoo (talk) 14:45, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
November 1976 performance with Red Krayola Film: "Struggle in New York"

The Other Works Section has got problems.
[edit]There is no proper citation for the whole first part about the article she wrote in The Fox. Where is it? The Citation number is about something else on Conceptual Art, and has nothing to do with Bigelow. I will delete it for now, unless we can get a source (I can't seem to find it). Finally, the idea presented is not clear. I tried to track it down. What exactly is she arguing about contradiction? Why does this matter? Also, the last sentence boasting about who Bigelow quotes is meaningless or comes off as fake intellectualism.
Second, the next part about her appearing in a short film called, Struggle in New York, is only a little suspect because is spells her name with a "C" instead of a "K". Is this the same Bigelow, aka 'K'athryn Bigelow? This needs to be double-checked, and the picture is hard to identify. 68.84.26.201 (talk) 13:55, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
