The result of the move request was: No further move at this time. This page was moved to the proposed title before the discussion had its week to take place, so the request is moot at this point. I don't see a really strong case for either name, so I'm going to leave the article where it is, and if someone wants to argue that it should be at "Krone LSA-PLUS", that should take place separate from this request. - GTBacchus^(talk) 01:44, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Krone LSA-PLUS → KRONE LSA-PLUS – Having KRONE capitalized has always been the convention, both when they were an independent company, and after their purchase by ADC. Take a look[1]. --Juventas (talk) 04:54, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't actually see that from the Google results page. Once you get past the first page of results, most of which have some interest in ensuring consistent presentation of the brand name, the usage is far more evenly split. Let me start by saying that I was the one who originally created the article name. I'm simply admitting my own mistake. As to be expected, there are some that treat it like any word. Yes, but "authoritative" is quite far down our list of criteria for article titles. We typically only deviate from expected English naming conventions when non-standard typography is used pretty much exclusively. What Juventas has said above is correct. The company name was "KRONE GmbH" (previously "KRONE & Co.") so "KRONE" is correct and the reason why I tagged the cut-and-paste move to KRONE LSA-PLUS as {{db-move}} so that Krone LSA-PLUS could be properly moved to maintain the edit history. --Tothwolf (talk) 03:26, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's as may be, but we don't habitually put titles in uppercase even if that's how the company itself does it unless that's overwhelmingly used by secondary sources. You don't see "IBM" written out as "Ibm" and Juventas was attempting to correct his mistake of titling the article he created as "Krone" when it should have been "KRONE". I'd offer to take photos of their logo on some of their tooling and equipment but the only photos I could take right now would be of low quality and not really suitable for use in an article. (On a semi-related note, if someone can find free photos of a BIX block, BIX frames, and tooling, we really could use them in the BIX article.) --Tothwolf (talk) 08:25, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MOS:TRADE#General rules is quite clear on the issue. IBM is an initialism, which is why it is excepted (along with obviously being referred to exclusively in uppercase by reliable sources, something not proven for this article).
