Barr did not play for Modbury or Campbelltown
[edit]That was a different player with the same name and I have proof to back this up.
Barr's profile on the Adelaide United website mentions that he played for Adelaide City, Metrostars and White City as well as the clubs he played for interstate and abroad. There is zero mention of Modbury or Campbelltown. If you look at his career, the only way he would've been able to play for those clubs is if he played for 3 clubs in a season which is impossible. This article on Barr talks about his career and there's zero mention of him being at Campbelltown or Modbury (Link here https://www.theinnersanctum.com.au/who-is-lachlan-barr-adelaide-united-injury-replacement/). Why? Because the Lachlan Barr at those clubs is a different Lachlan Barr. Even of you look at their stats online you can see that this Lachlan Barr (stats here: https://websites.mygameday.app/team_info.cgi?action=PSTATS&pID=206640423&client=0-10180-150513-577489-26636401) played for Adelaide City on the same weekends as the other Lachlan Barr was playing for Modbury (stats here: https://websites.mygameday.app/team_info.cgi?pID=207253559) Ausfootballfan (talk) 08:03, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
- OK, good research - removed. GiantSnowman 08:14, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
Adelaide City
[edit]Barr did not leave Adelaide City between 2020 and 2021 which is why I merged the two entries.
Why this was undone and I was threatened with being blocked I have no idea Ausfootballfan (talk) 15:30, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- Because you have not provided a source for your removal of sourced content - and I note in the section above this you say that Barr did play for City... GiantSnowman 15:58, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
You misread what I said. He did play for City but he didn’t leave the club between 2020 and 2021 so his stats for those seasons should be in one entry. Not two separate entries for each season over the same stint at the club. Ausfootballfan (talk) 16:15, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
- gotcha - please use edit summaries and sources to explain and support your edits, to avoid further confusion in future! GiantSnowman 16:22, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
A-League
[edit]It’s called the A-League Men now so please re-do my revision. Ausfootballfan (talk) 16:01, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
