The Return of Lark, with a New Name

[edit]

A few days before this post, I found out that a private railroad company would launch an overnight service between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The train, supposedly called Dreamstar, would retrace Lark's route and legacy, and could commence as soon as fall 2023. I would suggest a new section summarizing that train, and devote an entirely new article about it. Here is a reliable link for starters (by Trains Magazine):

And this is the URL for the company Dreamstar Lines Inc, the operator of the service:

There are a lot of companies that claim they're going to operate passenger rail services. Very few of them ever run a single train. Until there's solid progress beyond the vaporware stage, it needs no more than a sentence (if anything) here, and certainly not a new article. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 05:47, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps so, but I wish to keep my fingers crossed and hinge my hopes on the success of Brightline, which I must emphasize is also a private operation. Nevertheless, I'll defer to your consultation to not make any moves until the situation further develops. Nebulous2357 (talk) 18:44, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dreamstar Lines made a critical step to achieving revenue service by 2025. There is even an article about the proposed train. It may now be worth mentioning in this article.Nebulous2357 (talk) 17:53, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
