Source needed for historic first
[edit]According the 1919 edition of the Spalding Base Ball guide,[1] it is recorded that Magee achieved the feat on April 17, 1919 but makes no mention that it is historic. Five other ballplayers accomplish the same that season, making this a very late historic first followed up with it being done almost every month afterwards.
