Subject: Query as to the responsibility for defense of Liechtenstein

Hello,

My name is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I am a editor on Wikipedia known as =
User:Copysan.

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia constructed by thousands of online
contributors. It has grown to include over nine million articles in
250 languages with over two million articles in the English version
alone. Additionally, Wikipedia is among the top 10 sites visited daily
by Internet users, according to the Alexa Traffic Report. [1]

I am contacting you because there is currently a dispute on the
Wikipedia page for Liechtenstein regarding who holds the
responsibility for defending Liechtenstein in event of an attack on
the country.

The Wikipedia article for Liechtenstein says "According to the CIA
World Factbook, defense is the responsibility of Switzerland. However,
this can be considered a myth since no official sources of either
Switzerland or Liechtenstein supporting this claim are published.
Specifically, no defense treaty is mentioned in the very detailed
description of the bilateral relationships of the two countries
provided on Liechtenstein's official website." [2]

I am wondering which version of the events is true and which should be
reported in Wikipedia.

I believe that this matter is of great importance to the people of
Liechtenstein because the Wikipedia article is the first page to come
up from a Google search of the term "Liechtenstein". [3] This would
suggest that a typical Internet user's source of information for your
country would be Wikipedia, thus I believe it important to get this
fact right.

Additionally, this article is included in the Release Versions of
Wikipedia, which aims to place the online articles of Wikipedia into a
more tangible form of a DVD or print. Thus, any assertions made in the
article will be made permanent in these forms, so any inaccuracies in
these versions will continue on. Thus, I believe it is important to
exise these errors and correct them as soon as possible.

If there are any other errors in this article, please forward your
concerns to me.

I look forward to working with you or one of your staff members on the
Liechtenstein article for Wikipedia.
