Discrepancies[edit]

I notice that Miami claims (page 54) an OAC championship for its 1918 season, but not for its 1927 season. However, this source for the OAC (page 5, standings on page 59 & 60) claims that Miami in fact placed second for the 1918 season (the title went to Wittenburg with a 3−0−0 OAC record), and the Redskins tied for the conference championship in 1927 (with Muskingum). I'm inclined to side with the OAC source, but will mark the 1918 championship as claimed by Miami with a footnote. If anyone can find a definitive answer it would be a big help!
