Historical results[edit]

Thanks for your effort @Mark J, but is there somewhere else for that massive addition to go? It only covered some from North Wales, so I expect way more would need to be added. Adding centuries of results from all constituencies would be too much here in my opinion, ideally just a summary here, unless there is another way to condense it all?

There are existing sub-pages on the preserved counties of Wales, List of parliamentary constituencies in Clwyd for example. Or maybe making articles based on the years. Splitting the results into sizeable chunks? Or even just one historical results article? Best this article focuses on the modern-day or an overview. But of course, if others join in to support adding it here, fully open to. DankJae 23:26, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think they are a good addition to be honest. London historical results are on that page so why not have Wales here? BenDavis72 (talk) 10:30, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just that it’s overwhelming, London is a lower sub-page so very niche, but this article is more higher so felt that this should be more of an overview rather than every result in the past few centuries. However if consensus here is for it then okay. DankJae 10:46, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmn looking at others. North West England doesn't, West Midlands doesn't, Scotland doesn't. I would be happy to accept them here however, if we merge in List of parliamentary constituencies in Clwyd etc into here, especially considering the preserved counties only existed for 20 years, in which the results exist way before, and most of the time the constituencies, especially the upcoming ones don't follow the preserved counties at all so a bit useless.
Still prefer if we divide by date into sub-articles and this becomes an overview, like Scotland, merely listing the constituencies here that had once existed in Wales, plus boundary reviews. DankJae 13:00, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
