Can a note be added to reflect the old name of the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru etc. Act 2013?

The original name of the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru etc. Act 2013 is the Local Government (Democracy) (Wales) Act 2013. I think a note should be added to reflect this but I don't know how to do that. I have renamed the cells to reflect the new name (2024). DotCoder (talk) 16:39, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@DotCoder: It's the first time that I've ever heard of a short title being altered - but you're absolutely right. Will this edit cover what you want? I have tweaked the citation to use Template:Cite legislation Wales.

Another example is:

General Synod (Remote Meetings) Measure 2020, List of Church of England measures

The problem with {{cite legislation Wales}} is that it opens the whole Act and doesn't allow linking to the relevant portion of the Act. The template has only six parameters (|brief=|type=|year=|chapter=|title=|number=) My edit provided a link which opens up section 11 and nothing else, and also goes to the specific subsection. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:23, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
