Layout
[edit]The layout with the tables sucks. It would be much better as a simple text list. The Master ---)Vote Saxon(--- 05:29, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
From Chicago?
[edit]I've noticed that this article includes athletes who have merely played for a Chicago sports team and were not born or raised in the city. If this is based on sports personnel who have lived in Chicago, almost every player in Chicago's pro teams has technically lived in the Chicago area while playing for their team. For example, Sammy Sosa and Ozzie Guillén were not born in Chicago nor did they stay in Chicago after completing their baseball careers. Inclusion into this lists should be defined by whether an athlete was born in Chicago area or spent their youth in the city. Otherwise, we may as well include Category:Chicago Bears players, Chicago Blackhawks players, Chicago Cubs players, Chicago White Sox players, or Chicago Bulls players (ect.) -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 04:39, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
- I was wondering about this too, but I noticed that Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, who is so associated with Chicago, is absent. Kdammers (talk) 15:04, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

Rose
[edit]The basketball player D. Rose has played on a number of NBA teams, but the note on him only names Detroit, even though he played on the Chicago team (drafted #1). I think his being on the Chicago NBA team should be listed. Kdammers (talk) 15:10, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
- The information on this list is incredibly out of date. It's been simplified to just "NBA player and 2011 MVP" for the sake of brevity and convenience. Thanks for bringing this up. -- StarScream1007 ►Talk 16:24, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
