Request for Comment
[edit]A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. Derek Anderson
[edit]Derek Anderson of the NBA should be added to this page.
Papa John
[edit]Though Papa John does live in Louisville now, he was raised in neighboring Jeffersonville, Indiana, which is also where the first Papa John's was located. Should he be removed, or should there just be a comment on his entry? 74.130.112.195 01:38, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- This covers the Louisville metropolitan area, so John Schnatter belongs in the list. Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 01:43, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Joe Clayton
[edit]The linked page is to a different [Joseph Clayton]; [Joe Clayton] is also someone else. And I have no idea what "calling out woodpeckers" is supposed to mean. Vynce (talk) 04:02, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
List style
[edit]Please be sure to use citations and mention how they are related to the Louisville metropolitan area when adding people to the list. In a clean up effort today more than 10 people were on the list that were either not real articles (like vandalism) or what seemed to be not at all connected to this area (no citations, no written references to Louisville, and nothing in the main article mentioning). Add Johnny Edwards (Musicians)
[edit]He was lead singer for Foreigner for a couple of years. 12.8.250.162 (talk) 13:55, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
