Seems to be missing a lot of things including characterizations as ethnic cleansing, the massacres that accompanied the "depopulation", and how Jewish National Fund planted forests on areas surrounding several destroyed Palestinian villages. Makeandtoss (talk) 10:46, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, displacement is what happens to people but depopulation is what happens to places. Anyway, even though "forced displacement" is the background in the great majority of cases, using it in the title would open individual places to argument about whether they belong.
