Madina Town actually comprises those localities of (village) Chak No.213/R.B. which are on the eastern side of Jaranwala Road. (Peoples Colony No.1 likewise comprises those on the western side). The land was acquired by Punjab goverment in 1973 and development is still going on. Total area of Madina Town is about 400 Acres and total population is about 50,000. The main localities used to be and are Bahadar Singh Wala, Bishan Singh Wala, Kaharasan Wala (Rehman Nagar), Kaelian Wala, Mauran, Susan, Nwan Pind etc.PKAFC (talk) 00:04, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
