Preliminary review

[edit]

The article is well written, with clear prose and correct grammar, complying to style guidelines. It is factually accurate and verifiable, provides references to sources used, cites reliable sources, and contains no original research. Coverage is broad, addressing majors aspects of the biographical and scientific history, staying focused on the primary topic without going into unnecessary details. Perspective is neutral. No controversy is going on regarding the article. All in all, this definitely looks like a good article. Wryspy 17:47, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Bird Brain?"

[edit]

Does anyone have any idea as to why a link for a comic charcter known as "Bird Brain" redirects to this page?? Es-won 15:38, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Marian Breland Bailey and her husband Keller had a device called Bird Brain in which a trained pigeon appeared to outsmart people. For the fictional character, go to Bird-Brain with a hyphen in the name. Doczilla 23:03, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was confused too when I searched for "bird brain", expecting an article relating to bird intelligence to come up, especially since this article mentions nothing about the device. It seems to me that a disambiguation page is more appropriate. —Umofomia (talk) 04:04, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest merge Keller Breland to here

[edit]

This page has much more detail on this subject than the Keller Breland page, and at first glance, it appears that independent notability for Keller Breland has not been asserted or established. The merge would preserve the infobox and any verifiable content from the current article and be without prejudice, so that the page could be split as and when sufficient verifiable independent material for him is added.

Comments, negative or positive, welcome. --MegaSloth (talk) 15:26, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What were B.F. Skinner's "pro-seminars"?

[edit]

The article mentions these, but doesn't explain what they were. Can't find answer in Skinner's own article, or by googling. Greg Dahlen (talk) 09:43, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This 2007 Good article has multiple unsourced statements (failing criteria 2) and prose issues, such as puffery, which means this article does not meet WP:NPOV. Spinixster (chat!) 10:09, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
