Naming convention
[edit]Firstly, most of the content of this page is promotional. Marie Serneholt did not grow up in a "upper-class" environment, as suggested earlier. Secondly, any biographical account should be verified and not solely taken from her managers promotional story.
I changed the article so that the subject is referred to her last name in the article. This is per the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies):
- After the initial mention of any name, the person may be referred to by surname only. For example:
- Fred Smith was a cubist painter in the 15th century. He moved to Genoa, where he met John Doe. Smith later commented: "D'oh!"
Sources
[edit]The following have no sources:
- Her first music video, "That's The Way My Heart Goes", had a cost of USD 500,000 (3,700,000 SEK).
- In one interview, Marie was asked by an interviewer about how she developed an American accent despite being taught British English. She explains that happened after visiting America a few times and having American friends.
None of this sounds very trivial, by the way! - Tbsdy lives (talk) 00:44, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
The following have some sources:
- She nearly died twice, once from almost drowning and once from an illness. | Here she mentions the drowning accident, nothing about the illness though: http://www.expressen.se/noje/lets-dance/marie-serneholt-om-sorgen-efter-mans/ MrPounder (talk) 20:46, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Return to the spotlight
[edit]I'm just wondering if others think that the heading "Return to the spotlight (2009–present)" is appropriate? Would it be better as just "2009–present", or something else? It seems to me like something you'd see on a fansite, not in an encylopedia. Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 08:38, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with you. It sounds more appropriate.--BabbaQ (talk) 12:28, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, seems like this is an uncontroversial change so I'll go ahead and make it. Ry's the Guy (talk|contribs) 12:35, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
