I removed the text and reference to USMC "medium infantry" reference which was to an article discussing the fire volume of a deployed element, not infantry that differs in physical weight to light infantry given light infantry pack more today than mechanised infantry owing to the mechanised infantry having so much equipment they need vehicles, and usually go out of the vehicle "packing light"--mrg3105 (comms) ♠♥♦♣ 01:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
