Grammatical Corruption in the English language

[edit]

Dear Sir, I would like to draw your kind attention at the grammatical corruption our the English Language is suffered with. One particular of this kind is related to the article 'the'. Several so-called grammarians omit article 'the' before the mountain peaks i.e. Mount Everest. Whereas there is no reason for this omission here. 'Mount Everest ' is necessarily to be preceded by the article 'the'. What do you think of it? Please suggest me your guideline, Sir. Birbal Kumawat (talk) 14:18, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The only grammatical corruption here is whatever you are attempting to pass off as English. There is no need for "the" before Mount Everest. --Khajidha (talk) 16:58, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May require further disambiguation

Though retired, I'll just note here that I was looking for information on another English writer Michael Swan, now deceased I'm sure, who was a Henry James scholar. One can see some examples of his published work here.Shawn in Montreal (talk) 10:32, 11 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
