Possibly Channel 4's darkest hour... surprised no-one had already started an article on it... Smallbone10 22:24, 17 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also it was probably broadcast on S4C but I'm not sure... Anyone know? Smallbone10 17:45, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I remember Tracy Ullman doing a sketch on 'Three of a Kind' that really made the inference explicit. It was the BBC that made a big issue of it. Wasn't Patsy Kensit one of the kids?

I wouldn't say it was C4's darkest hour. It was one of those ideas that sounded great on paper but pretty lousy once actioned. We all make mistakes like that and C4 acted fairly quickly to end the show. Methinks these days a broadcaster would effectively say up yours and carry-on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.10.248.65 (talk) 20:09, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Mansfield was never noted for subtlety; Patsy Kensit wasn't in it; and in a documentary some twenty years later one of the girls said they competed to outdo each other on the make-up, which probably didn't help. Still, of its time and wouldn't get past a proposal these days. --Rodhullandemu 21:23, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revival of sorts[edit]

There has been a revival of sorts called Minipop Kids. K-Tel records has been distributing a similar product in audio form with television commercials similar to the original 1983 television show.--RedKnight 23:57, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
