@HistoryofIran: Dear HistoryofIran, according to your message in my talk page, it seems you disagree renaming this article. We can discuss it here. Shfarshid (talk) 13:54, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The original version (which I have restored) is the one that the sources (the ones I added in the source section, or at least the majority of them I recall) use. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:56, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@HistoryofIran: Please ping me when you want to leave a message. It is not a rule that always the majority of the sources provide the correct information. According to ḴALIFA SOLṬĀN article in Iranica, the first name of this stateman was "Mohammad-Mahdi". Lots of Iranian first names consist of 2 Arabic names such as Mohammad-Reza the last Shah of Iran. His first name was neither Mohammad nor Reza. If we delete the second part of Mohammad-Mahdi Karaki, it could be easily mistaken with the other figure of Karaki family which was "Qazi-ye Askar (Qadi Askar, judge of the army)" in Abbas I era. @HistoryofIran: I am still expecting your answer. Consensus is reached when you actively participate in discussion. Shfarshid (talk) 02:32, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Shfarshid: I had completely forgotten about this, anyways: So because one source out of a billion sources supports your spelling, that makes your argument valid? Nope, see Wikipedia:COMMONNAME. Anyways, I'm not interested in delving further into this, feel free to move it, but please do take it up in a talk page beforehand next time, thanks. --HistoryofIran (talk) 14:41, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
