Fair use rationale for Image:C61d 1-1-.jpg

[edit]

Image:C61d 1-1-.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Steven Colbert's Pseudo-Cover?

[edit]

Steven Colbert did a song called I'm Right Behind You Now Charlene, and it's pretty obviously using this song as a base. Shouldn't that be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shadic (talkcontribs) 20:00, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chas Sandford

[edit]

There are some claims that the song was written a long time before John Waite knew of its existence, Waite's writing credit was due to his vocal ability to give the song extra authenticity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.74.141.137 (talk) 15:03, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking at this and your web page lists John Waite as the writer of this song when it was released by Melanie in 1969. I hope he paid her royalties for that.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.105.164.35 (talk) 03:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was written by Chas Sandford and Waite wanted a credit for singing it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.74.214.150 (talk) 14:57, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Music video

[edit]

The music video section is full of sentences that don't make any sense at all. Never having seen the video, I can't do anything about it. --Jemiller226 (talk) 13:16, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Use in tv series

[edit]

This song was also used in season 1 episode 06 "big waves "of summerland — Preceding unsigned comment added by Greenboy1978 (talkcontribs) 19:51, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Beatles template

[edit]

Removing the template. Can't see one good reason why it should be here - there is NOTHING in the article. If everything one of the beatles touched, saw or thought about we will have tag the moon, the stars and the drainage systems of the world. Surely one of the Beatles took a dump on every continent?

"Ain't Missing You" Artist

[edit]

Didn't Brandy have a hit with this song? Was she a member of E'voke? The members of that group should be ID'ed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynmarenjensen (talkcontribs) 18:49, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Different versions edited together

[edit]

I'm no recording expert but on one of the single versions that I remember hearing on the radio, there was a part where you could tell something about the speed and pitch changed from one part of the song to another. Clearly they edited two different recordings together. Wish someone knew about this and could post the technical details here (with citation of course). 2603:8001:2A00:7428:911:CB4D:D015:5563 (talk) 13:09, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
