The photograph of Well Hall Road used to illustrate the article is at least half a mile south of the murder scene. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.57.253.190 (talk) 13:14, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can you find a better photo on Commons, possibly in c:Category:Well Hall Road, London? If you live locally then please take a photo of the scene and upload it to Commons. Verbcatcher (talk) 01:41, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ik Wikipedia discourages the use of words like racist, but I think the phrase 'racially motivated' in the lead is vague and should be changed to 'racist'. Especially since Dobson and Norris were convicted of murdering him. Stephanie921 (talk) 23:02, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. The murder is routinely described as "racist" by the BBC. The lead should link murder not just "hate crime". 205.239.40.3 (talk) 13:11, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In June 2023, the sixth suspect was named by the BBC as Matthew White. He died in 20202021: [1]. "A furious Baroness Doreen Lawrence has called for officers to be sacked": [2]. 205.239.40.3 (talk) 08:16, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it was 2021. The BBC source says this: "He was a drug user at the time of Stephen's murder in 1993 and later became a heroin addict. Over the years, White had brief periods of employment as a scaffolder and gardener. He also had a history of theft and spent time in prison." White seems to have been the missing piece of the investigation jigsaw, who's inclusion might have led to the conviction of all the suspects. 205.239.40.3 (talk) 15:16, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
