Darby

[edit]

Can someone figure out once and for all what Darby's role is going to be, and change all the Pooh articles to reflect it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.214.193.151 (talkcontribs)

DARBY reply:

There is no wrong information on the "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" page (except for the misspelling of Struen Erhlinhorn's name). Darby will appear in every episode and, like Christopher Robin, has adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with the Pooh gang. If there is any contradicting information on other Pooh pages, it has not been supplied by the MFTP production.BHohlfeld 22:21, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Goffer?

[edit]

Who's Goffer?, isn't it Gopher spelled wrong?

Good point, a Goffer is a person that goes for this, goes for that. -- Zanimum 18:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gopher?

[edit]

Fair use rationale for Image:MFTP.JPG

[edit]

Image:MFTP.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"goofs" section

[edit]

Shouldn't the "goofs" mentioned in the goofs/trivia section be limited to violations of the shows universe? currently there is some silly jab about birds hatching too early and flying away. Someone is striving for biological accuracy on a TV show that has talking animal toys? Rabit makes a grothw potion that makes Darby grow huge too... why no "goof" there? A cartoon is a cartoon... trivia is fine, but goofs are silly to do unless they were unintentional or somehow violate the writers' established cannon/universe.

Sorry, I can't sign... I don't believe in having to make accounts for wikipedia. a few bad apples ruined something really great when wikipedia first started. I'm sure the anonymous police will be around shortly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.65.47.29 (talk) 16:17, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heres an in universe goof. Pooh spells the word "honey" correctly in a song. When its common knowledge that all honey parts are written out as "hunny". It's probably so children will spell it corectly... but it's still annoying. Not to mention that I doubt pooh could spell much of anything. 68.210.227.92 (talk) 19:27, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this cancelled?

[edit]

It was said "cancelled" when I got here before. It isn't cancelled, right? Kjinho213 (talk) 00:32, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've never seen anything that constitutes an official announcement, but word posted throughout show staff from the Internet is that it is no longer in production. Status: unofficial canceled. Agent0042 (talk) 16:28, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Word is that since there is a new Pooh movie being made that is NOT computer animated, they shut down production of this. -unsigned

9/11 attacks

[edit]

I'm interested in hearing Christopher Robin's take on the subject. In the meanwhile, someone should correct the page. Wish I knew how to, but I'm sure one of you smart people who know how to update Wikipedia can do it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.111.151.190 (talk) 02:39, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. 93.92.153.12 (talk) 15:03, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re-airing?

[edit]

Two ip users put dates for Disney to be restarting the show on Disney Junior, but according to the Channel Guide on disney.go.com, and the lack of any reference to this "announcement", I find this highly suspect. I've added Citation Needed tags, whatever good that'll do. Miketosh (talk) 02:57, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't there a Character Bio Section???

[edit]

There really should be a character Bio section. The most we get is a little tidbit about Darby. Please, someone add a bio section. Thenorthgoingzax (talk) 15:45, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
