Separation
[edit]"Cracks first started appearing in Portman and Miss Vodianova’s relationship at the end of 2009. The beauty and the couple’s children spent that festive season on the Caribbean island of Antigua. Portman, meanwhile, started spending more and more time at their new home in Punta del Este, Uruguay overseeing the development of a new retreat. Sources at the time told how was devastated to be apart from his love ones at such an important time of the year. A source revealed: ‘He was very upset. He was alone over Christmas and he missed Natalia and his family terribly.’" [1] "Justin tried to build his career as an artist, but failed to achieve any significant success. Natalia always made more money than her husband, and rumor has it, it was a bone of contention for the spouses. According to Forbes, Natalia is number seven on the list of the highest paid models with в 5.5 million dollars a year." [2] "But the problems in Vodianova’s family began long before she met the Russian producer Andrei. They say that the couple’s relationship soured after their third child was born. Natalia's friends say that rumors of prominent wealth of Lord Portman do not match the reality. They say that this old English family has nothing but the title, and Natasha is the bread winner. They also said that the Lord started having issues with alcohol and even at social events he is always tipsy. He is also an avid gambler, and loses half of Natasha’s earnings in the casino. That's probably why she snapped, although she tried to save her family until the end." [3]
"Justin Portman, the second son of the late Viscount Edward Portman, went to Harrow and then studied art. In 1997 he held a sellout exhibition at a gallery in London, and once famously organised a charity chess night at the Cobden Club with Garry Kasparov. Dressed in combats and a sweatshirt, he is relaxed and intelligent, and seems unlike many privileged men of his ilk." [4]
