Editing badly needed

[edit]

This page is in dire need of rewriting, as there are a lot of sentences that just make no sense. For example, "After buying the wrong kind of Pop Tarts for his co-workers, his boss fired him" means his boss bought the Pop-Tarts, not him--and that's obviously not what happened. This is rampant throughout the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.149.12 (talk) 21:54, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How's that again?

The Big Apple Convention Picture

[edit]

I really think that the Big Apple Convention Picture of Nicholas Brendon (the one at the bottom) should be in the infobox. It really shows him more clearly, and it's very recent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.205.51.104 (talk) 22:12, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oct 2014 Arrest

On October 17, 2014, Brendon, participating in the Tree City Comic Con, was arrested in a Boise, Idaho hotel lobby, for misdemeanor charges of Malicious Injury To Property and Resisting Or Obstructing Officers. According to authorities, Brendon was booked in the Ada County Jail and released after posting bond.[1][2]--Frankthetankk 09:14, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Itemizing arrests?

[edit]

I'm wondering if all his legal issues need to be individually itemized. Wouldn't it be enough to have a more general statement about "ongoing issues and numerous arrests" with appropriate footnotes for those who want the gory details? It just seems an unnecessary level of focus. 74.74.162.131 (talk) 22:45, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree. I think the detail, far from being "gory," adds real value to the article, for if it were not included, i would be looking up this data all over the net. In fact, i was disappointed because the article, as i find it today, ends with a hanging note of suspense: "Brendon was arrested in Terre Haute, Indiana in August 2021 for failure to identify and obtaining a prescription by fraud. He was pulled over while driving erratically and police found bags with crystal residue powder in them. A search by K9 dogs found secret compartments cut out of the floor of the car, and more bags with residue powder. This arrest is a violation of his current probation for domestic assault." -- And then what? What was the chemical composition of the "crystal residue powder"? What was the outcome of the arrest -- a plea deal, jail time, a slap on the wrist? Where is Brendon now? As i ask these questions, nearly a year has elapsed since the arrest. Surely someone can update the page. 75.101.104.17 (talk) 18:08, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

So now that i found what i was looking for -- outside of Wikipedia -- i hope that an interested and capable editor uses these cited articles to write a conclusion to the last paragraph in the bio page. Cheers! 75.101.104.17 (talk) 18:29, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing sentence

[edit]

It says “he gave up acting after two years”. That doesn’t make sense since he’s acted for longer than that. 72.65.239.60 (talk) 05:17, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
