Notability[edit]

I'm a bit suprised that this article is here. It just doesn't seem extremely notable. Is it a term I'd use? Sure, but prolly only 2 or 3 times in my life. So yeah, it makes sense to me as a Trekkie, but it isn't extremely notable. Also, it seems as if the writer of this article User:Sarasdano, might from his perspective be a neologism. This user has basically 2 edits. 1 quick batch of edits on this article, 1 edit on Trekkie where he links to this article, and one no-change edit in Pah-wraith. But I think the article does have some merit, and Wikipedia isn't paper, so can I vote keep in case a VFD happens later? McKay 07:06, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What if we merge this with Trekkie? This is totally not notable enough to keep as an entire article, but surely it deserves a few sentences in the Trekkie article. Nlm1515 15:34, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Only one or two sentences would be relevant for the Trekkie article. What about a merge & redirect to Take Me Out to the Holosuite, or transwiki to Memory Beta? - Fayenatic (talk) 12:43, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok how about this: The use of "Niner's" as a description for deep space nine fans can be given a few sentences in the Trekkie article. Things about the baseball team can be covered in the episode in question. Then we delete the niner article. Nlm1515 22:52, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. I've done all of the above. The article can now be deleted. Only a couple of user pages still point here. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:48, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Now that someone has created {{:Category:Fictional baseball teams]], I'm keeping this as a redirect to the episode. Fayenatic (talk) 16:06, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I deleted the tag for sources, as the episode itself is an accessible source, and the article also has a link to Memory Alpha which is a good backup. - Fayenatic london (talk) 18:22, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
