Erik Hulthén

[edit]

According to de.wikipedia, de:Erik Hulthén lived 1891-1972, and was member of the Nobel Committee for Physics 1929-1957. sv:Erik Hulthén gives the same birth date and death year (no exact day), and says something I didn't fully understand about "Nobelkommittén för fysik", where the years 1929 and 1957 appear, too.

However, there may have been another physicist of the same name? - Jochen Burghardt (talk) 14:00, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Source?

[edit]

What is the source for the list of former members and secretaries? It does not appear to be either of the References. SarahLawrence Scott (talk) 00:11, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Current status (2019)

[edit]

As of 2019-10-18, www.nobelprize.org/prizes/about/the-nobel-committee-for-physics lists the following members: Members: Mats Larsson (Chair), Professor of Molecular Physics; David Haviland, Professor of Nanostructure Physics; Eva Olsson, Professor of Experimental Physics; Thors Hans Hansson, Professor of Theoretical Physics; Anders Irbäck, Professor of Computational Biology and Biological Physics; Gunnar Ingelman (Secretary), Professor of Subatomic Physics. Co-opted members: Ulf Danielsson, Professor of Theoretical Physics; Ariel Goobar, Professor of Experimental Particle Astrophysics.

At this moment, this wikipedia pages lists as members: Nils Mårtensson (Chairman), David Haviland, Olga Botner, Mats Larsson, Thors Hans Hansson, Gunnar Ingelman (Secretary); with reference Nobelprize.org: The Nobel Committee for Physics, accessed 2015-08-18; but apparently this list refers to the status of 2017. I will now update the list of current members to the status of 2019, and I will move those who were members in 2017 to the list of previous members, although there is no proper reference.--MScheffler (talk) 11:51, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
