Lifestyle of Thalassocnus:

I updated the statement on the lifestyle of Thalassocnus because the new bone microanatomical data show plainly that this taxon, or at least most of its species, was fully aquatic, although it apparently inhabited shallow-water environments and was a sluggish swimmer. The closest extant analogue would be the sea cows, which share the same microanatomical adaptations. These are not semi-aquatic. This edit is consistent with my recent modifications to the Thalassocnus page.Michel Laurin (talk) 10:47, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
