Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

A fact from Odette Ferreira appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 25 July 2020 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Portuguese HIV researcher Odette Ferreira flew from Lisbon to Paris with test tubes of blood in her coat to maintain the right temperature for testing at the Pasteur Institute?

... that a Portuguese needle-exchange programme organised by HIV researcher Odette Ferreira exchanged 43 million syringes between 1993 and 2008? [1]
ALT1:... that Portuguese HIV researcher Odette Ferreira flew from Lisbon to Paris with test tubes of blood in her coat to maintain the right temperature for research at the Pasteur Institute? [2]
Overall: New enough and long enough, neutral, well cited, Earwig ok, and hooks check out from the source.
Review not done, but from what I can see this is only your second DYK nomination, so below 5 credits and not mandatory.
Maybe a small suggestion on the alt hook (below), but should be ok as is too.
ALT1a: ... that Portuguese HIV researcher Odette Ferreira flew from Lisbon to Paris with test tubes of blood in her coat to maintain the right temperature for researchand test them at the Pasteur Institute?
ALT1b: ... that Portuguese HIV researcher Odette Ferreira flew from Lisbon to Paris with test tubes of blood in her coat to maintain the right temperature to test them at the Pasteur Institute? is fine with me Roundtheworld (talk) 17:23, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I came by to promote this. I added a "citation needed" tag to verify one claim, and tagged the lead for insufficiently summarizing the article. Yoninah (talk) 16:44, 19 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
