U.S. Constitution
[edit]The U.S. Constitution does not provide for an "Office of the First Lady". First ladies are simply wives of presidents, and do not wield any politicial power. As a result, they are private citizens, not ones who hold an elected office. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.104.59.114 (talk) 21:03, 5 August 2010(UTC)
- Are you challenging why this article should be here? There is a way to do that. Otherwise, this office is apparently recognized by the White House. It is an article about the physical office, not about the person who works in it. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 21:21, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
