Proposed merger into Oklahoma Territory
[edit]The information in this page should be merged into the Oklahoma Territory article, where its minimal content would support the discussion of the territorial government. I plan to proceed with the merger unless there is sufficient discussion against this move. Discussion will close June 28, 2013. Bruin2 (talk) 14:19, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to oppose merely on the basis of parallelism with all the similar articles in Category:At-large United States congressional districts. While other stuff is not always a good guide, the rationale given here would also apply to many of those other articles and as such, the discussion should probably consider the group in general. older ≠ wiser 14:47, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- I find both arguments strong, but I think it needs to be merged for the time being and separated back out if there is sufficient content provided to make a stand-alone article. Okheric (talk) 18:51, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- Opposed I agree with Bkonrad- We would have to this with the other states.-thank you-RFD (talk) 23:20, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- Merger implementation This issue has remained open far longer than originally intended, without generating much additional input. While a few users oppose the merger because other states have already adopted another system, I am not convinced that the prior format best presents the information for Oklahoma Territory. Therefore, I will proceed to integrate the content from this article into the more general Oklahoma Territorial article. Bruin2 (talk) 19:15, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
