Are any parts of the Old Connecticut Path commemorated with historical markers or designated as historical sites by the states involved or the US? Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 01:49, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings! In Westborough, Massachusetts there is a marker following the current trail: http://img.groundspeak.com/waymarking/display/b4910c81-0233-4fb3-aac6-6887a18e13fa.JPG Garchy (talk) 16:21, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply, Garchy. My 16th & 17th century ancestors followed the frontier through the wild lands of Connecticut, most probably along Native trails, so the whole early European migration through New England fascinates me. That the Native North Americans had such an intricate web of trailways, with altered trees acting as sign posts, no less, is even more fascinating.
