The slant of this stub puts my teeth on edge. It clearly has been written by someone not very familiar with the nuances of the history, though in broad brush strokes it may be corrrect. There are much better sources than the short encyclopaedia Brittannica article also. I propose a major rewrite of the article, with a proper background and aftermath section, and giving poor Aerschot his due.--Ereunetes (talk) 19:24, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
