Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo

[edit]

A section should be added about the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo, an advanced training program for opera artists. See http://www.lesarts.com/en/centre_perfeccionament/index.html 81.62.132.107 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:00, 11 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]

The Opera Company

[edit]

I wanted to add some info about the company. I added the programme for the current season. --Karljoos (talk) 15:21, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Building contractors

[edit]

Is relevant who constructed the building? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.33.137.193 (talk) 12:04, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it is absolutely unnecessary, unless for self promotion (which is not acceptable in an encyclopedia article) and I am taking it out.--Karljoos (talk) 22:34, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Roof Construction and the Laws of Physics

[edit]

I am wondering how the curved top section of the roof is supported. On a variety of photographs available on Panoramio (see Google Earth) I can only see a huge white beam (probably made of steel) connected to the roof while the rest of it seems to be floating in mid-air (resembling a huge leaf shielding the building with the petiole represented by the huge beam). There seems to be no other support or suspension to it. Could it really be supported by this single beam only? If so, how does this construction behave upon storm and heavy turbulence? It really seems that this roof construction is not only hovering above the building but hovering above the laws of physics as well...--SiriusB (talk) 19:46, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
