Party affiliation

[edit]

The article currently makes clear that Nulty sits as an independent TD in the Dáil. He remains a member of the Labour Party, but my attempts to add this information to the article (alongside information on his sitting as an independent) have been reverted on more than one occasion. Why should his political party membership not be mentioned in the article at all? --Kwekubo (talk) 17:19, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly is your problem? When he resigned the Labour Party whip, he became an independent TD. As proof of this, he no longer has a page on the Labour Party website, like all their other TDs. He may well be a member of the Labour Party organisation, but to be clear when talking about TDs, its the parliamentary party thats important. Can you detail what information you wish to add?
