The PhD in Greek says in p.94 that "The Albanian authorities recognize officially as Greek the following villages(source):"
The source is: "According to the Greek consulate in Gjirokastër". This was transferred to wikipedia as: "Pecë is among the villages in which members of the ethnic Greek minority reside.". It should be removed. --Maleschreiber (talk) 22:39, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's misleading to say it in Wikivoice if the ultimate source is the consulate. Instead you should say "the Greek consulate in Gjirokaster says..."... if at all. --Calthinus (talk) 15:41, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The removal of high quality academic works, especially of top linguists and professors of the University of Tirana needs a serious explanation and there is no way to obscure published scholarly work of high value such as that of A. Spiro. Anyone that rejects scholars of such quality should first have an RSN filled.Alexikoua (talk) 00:45, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alexikoua this statement doesn't exist in the source: A fieldwork of 2014 showed that the inhabitants are bilingual in Greek and Albanian with Albanian being their second language No fieldwork took place and the source contradicts all other sources, hence it has been removed from many articles. It's inaccurate for you to claim that there is no objection in TP even though the same source has been discussed in relation to many other articles.--Maleschreiber (talk) 13:58, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This academic publication is the result of long research as the author states. What do you mean "all other fieldwork? Kallivretakis already stated that further research was needed on the issue and Spiro is the more recent one not to mention that he is among the top linguist on the field now.Alexikoua (talk) 16:16, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
