US 41

[edit]

There is no overlap between the Pennyrile and US 41 between Nortonville and Madisonville. Check the KTC route log for evidence. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 05:59, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that; Google Maps showed the overlap, and it made sense, but then the WK Parkway signage didn't show it and I investigated further. --NE2 09:01, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Probably a remnant from when US 41 carried the free portion of the parkway when it was tolled. --Holderca1 talk 14:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Merge with Interstate 169 (Kentucky)

[edit]

See Interstate 169 (Kentucky)'s Talk page for more on this proposed merger. EBGamingWiki (talk) 00:18, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is the Pennyrile Signed as I-169 Yet?

[edit]

If I-169 signs are not present on the Pennyrile Parkway, I would argue that it's premature to say the route is I-169, and the Pennyrile Parkway designation has been eliminated. Like the portions of the WK Parkway and the northern section of the Pennyrile re-designated as I-69, I suspect there will be a transition period where both designations exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.3.53.78 (talk) 17:53, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Exit List

[edit]

Should the exit numbers for the portion of the parkway that is now I-69 have their new exit numbers listed next the old ones? NintendoTTTEfan2005 (talk) 03:46, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would say no. I operate under the concept that content like that freezes after a highway designation/name is decommissioned. For instance, U.S. Route 27 in Michigan doesn't list the exit numbers for the section north of Lansing that was not concurrent with I-69 because those numbers came later after that section was made part of U.S. Route 127 in Michigan. In short, those numbers are part of US 127's story, not US 27's. Imzadi 1979  21:11, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
