deletion?

I'm a little surprised at the repeated attempts to delete this page. This term is not some internet neologism that only 14 year old boys are aware of, it's been used in the press and other public forums quite a bit in the time since Obama was elected, as I believe is now well substantiated. This brief stub now has four separate references from bona fide nationally available reliable sources. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:17, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Neutrality of the tea party statement

Do I really need to cite sources that says the tea party isn't racist?

Describing the tea party as an organization, much less a single-issue one, is: 1) Not a citation, and 2) not very accurate. The Tea Party movement is a aggregate populist movement: there are various groups and organizations (formal and informal) which make up the movement, and a plethora of views are represented therein.

Moreover, unless I'm missing an edit, the article is referencing the idea that the Tea Party is perceived as racist, which is a very different thing. This is, however, probably something that needs some form of citation.

General rewrite is in order. A large number of the sentences on the page have grammatical issues, and the image captioned "Racial differences become the cause of attacks" seems like a joke. The section titled 'Post-racial America' is not only titled oddly, but is the section most pressing for a rewrite. Final paragraph of "Arguments challenging post-racial America" is in special need of proofreading as well. — NateNeumann (talk) 22:23, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
