Viewpoints?
[edit]Apart from a mention that she's associated with third-wave feminism, the article doesn't seem to have much on what viewpoints she advocates. --Delirium 15:39, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Feminism & her childhood
[edit]There's a really interesting article by way walker of impact of her mother's views on her life. It would be great to incorporate bits of into the article. caz | speak 14:36, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Even though the Daily Mail attributed that article to Walker herself, she repudiated it here, calling it "an inaccurate tabloidization of an interview I gave. No matter how much [Chesler] would like to see the piece as factual and however sensational the article may appear, my father is not a descendant of Holocaust survivors, I never used the word fanatical to describe my mother's views, and so on." --JN466 18:21, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

Needs more sources
[edit]The article relies too heavily Walker's own website for details of her biography, publishing, and media appearances, links. For such a public figure, there must be more written about her by other sources. Otherwise it sounds too much like self-promotion.Parkwells (talk) 21:58, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
Draft:Melvyn R. Leventhal initiated
[edit]I have created Draft:Melvyn R. Leventhal, an article on Walker's father, who appears to be independently notable as a civil rights attorney. Any help expanding this and bringing it up to article quality would be appreciated. Cheers! bd2412 T 04:30, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
- Note: I have expanded the article somewhat and moved it to Melvyn R. Leventhal. bd2412 T 02:18, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
