I started filling in a stub for Zeniff and it kind of blossomed into a larger project. I am hoping that the end result is a coherent, consistent account of the stories of Zeniff, Noah and Limhi, along with accounts of Abinadi and perhaps Alma. It seemed sensible to me to use the Record of Zeniff as a framework for the stories, but it is difficult to maintain an appropriate level of detail. It may be simpler ultimately to include more detail in this article and replace the separate articles on Zeniff, Noah and Limhi with redirects to appropriate sections of this article. I feel I've done what I can for now with this article. Additional work remaining includes cleaning up the tense (I tried to use the past tense throughout but there are problems), and perhaps adding a section relating the importance (to Mormons) of the teachings of this portion of the Book of Mormon. Aside from the "wickedness leads to destruction" object lesson, Abinadi's discourse is significant and this section also includes Alma's exhortation to baptism which is widely used in missionary work and at baptismal services. --andersonpd 19:11, 3 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
