It's Raideen, not Reideen or Raydeen. 204.176.49.46 (talk) 18:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone needs to cite an official source either way. I don't see why there would even be an official romaji spelling, since it was never officially released in the west. But it's feasible that they would choose to use "ei" instead of "ai", as the Japanese are almost as comfortable with German phonetic structure as they are with English. After a quick google search, I was able to find examples to support both romaji spellings:
Raideen:

Reideen:

Sometimes, coming up with an "official" romaji spelling is simply a lost cause, because there really is none. There are no firm rules and it just comes down to what the
person who happened to be the layout artist on that particular toy/manga/book/record etc. felt was best. Personally, I've been into Brave Raideen for over 30 years,
and in my experience it was always "Raideen". This "Reideen" thing is news to me. I seriously doubt whomever actually owns the rights gives a damn either way. Druff (talk) 23:14, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hum, I moved this article before reading this topic. Honestly, even if there is no firm rules, the most reliable sources spell "Raideen" (as Fred Patten, McCarthy & Clements or Timothy N. Hornyak). Binabik155 (talk) 19:38, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
